Note: For continuity, it is expected that the Vice President will normally succeed as President, subject to confirmation through election. The President will be invited to continue in the role of Past President until succession in the role. The CEO will also normally serve as Treasurer.

 

Nominations and Appointments: Officers

The roles of President, Vice President, Secretary and Treasurer are chosen by the Society members through election.

The remaining officer roles are appointed by the President, subject to ratification by the Board of Directors.

A Call for Nominations for the roles of Officers in the Society will be announced at the annual meeting (ICDVRAT or ICVR) or by September 15, whichever occurs first, in the year before an election occurs. All nominations must be received by July 1. Ballot papers will be issued (electronically) by September 1 and must be returned by November 1. Only regular members of the Society are eligible.

Votes Returned: November 1, 2011

Results Announced: December 1, 2011

Nominations : Board Members

The Board of Directors shall comprise members of the Society. There is no limit to the number of Directors, save that there should be sufficient to fulfill the executive function of the society. Nominations to join the Board will be discussed at the next Board meeting.
